Just Picasa'ed

This is one of the photos I uploaded on my Picasa Web Album, Homestead.

I made a Picasa web album.  I uploaded a few photos that I took a few years ago of the lake, the cornfields and the woods around my house.  Therefore I decided to entitle my web album, Homestead.  I also added captions and tags to all of my photos.  My photos are available for anyone on the web to look at, so go ahead and give them a looksy.  :-}

I used Delicious.com to store all of my bookmarks.  It's convenient to have sites like Delicious.com, because when I go to travel somewhere I have all my bookmarks right at hand.  However I don't like the fact that anyone can view what I've bookmarked.  However I can mark private on a bookmark if I want too.

Any who, here are a some links to my favorite bookmarks on Delicious.com:

Just Wanted To Say Thank You

Dear Person Who Told Me I Need To Have More Fun In My Life,

You reminded me that life is short, to live with no regrets, to have fun, to live and experience everything that you can in life and all I can say back to you is...thank you.

You will never know how much you changed my life, by reminding of these things that I had promised myself that I would always live by, so long ago.

Thanking you, in this blogpost is not enough, but the least I could do at this time.  If we ever do meet again and I hope that we do.  I'm sure our time together then will only be filled with extreme fun and adventure.

Until we meet again...thank you and live your life, as I will live mine...by having fun, living and experiencing everything there is in life and of course...living with no regrets.

Love Always,
Just Carol

Just Wiki'ed the Eli Young Band!!!

So, on Wikipedia I corrected the information on the page for the Eli Young Band.  I corrected the beginning paragraph of the biography section.  I added how Mike Eli and James Young were both college roommates their freshman year of college at the University of North Texas and how they both played guitar, sang and wrote songs together and eventually formed the acoustic duo, Eli & Young.  Then how Chris Thompson and Jon Jones came along and later they formed what they are now called, Eli Young Band.

I also corrected where it said in the biography section that their debut album was their 2005 album, "Level".  I knew that wasn't true, because the Eli Young Band's first ever album released was in 2002 and it was self-titled, "Eli Young Band".  I know because I own the CD, I actually own all five of their CDs.  So, I corrected that and added information about their 2002 album, "Eli Young Band".

I chose the Eli Young Band page to correct on Wikipedia, because the Eli Young Band is everything to me and I feel very, very confident in myself that I know quite a bit about them to be able to make corrections and additions to the Wikipedia page for them.

So, here's a link to check out the new biography section of the Eli Young Band's Wikipedia page:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli_Young_Band#Biography

LOOK What I Found Using RSS!

RSS is okay to use, but personally I just rather go to the website or blog to read the article or post.  I tried to use google-reader, which is great to use, because you can go to one place and be updated on all the blogs you're following.  However I just rather get e-mail updates of when the blogs I'm following add new posts, then I can visit the blog directly to read the new post.  I don't know why, but I just rather do it this way.

Here's a link to my favorite post that I found on this awesome music blog called, The Fire Note:  http://thefirenote.blogspot.com/2011/09/front-bottoms-front-bottoms.html

Here's a link to another blog, I really like to read:   http://senioritisjournals.blogspot.com/

Timing Is Everything...And That Just Sucks!!!

Ugh...the damn quote in the movie was right..."timing is everything!"

It seems like time is never on my side and I blame Mr. Fathertime.  And I'll tell you what, if me and him ever meet up in a back alley, we're going to be having some fightin' words.  And I don't know if he does, but I like to think that he carries a cane with him, because I'm going to be beatin' him down with that cane he carries.

Just once...Just once...I wanted time and timing to be in my favor...that's all I asked for, most recently, but I guess that was just too much to ask.

So, the least that Mr. Fathertime could do for me know is take a few quicker steps, because now only time can tell what will happen next.  And if he doesn't start picking up the pace he better start watching his back and keeping a death grip on that cane of his, if he does carry one, because I'll be beatin' his wrinkled booty down.

Huh...I feel a lot better saying that!  But if, Mr. Fathertime really did exist, I wouldn't physically hurt him, because I'm really not a violent person.  Though if I did meet him in a back ally, for real, I'd probably say, "Thanks, for keeping track of the time."

I'm just kind of upset and frustrated, right now, because I've come to learn that "timing truly is everything"...and sometimes...sometimes that just really, really sucks!  If we were in another place or time it would all work out, but it can't cause the timing was off.  Funny how that is.

It's been said a million and one times and here it is again..."there's a reason for everything and everything happens for a reason" and I truly believe that.  However I still can't think of another way to say it, but timing is everything...and that just sucks!
