This Second Life stuff is crazy business!
To begin the program, Second Life you create account with a username (which will be your avatar name) and a password. Then you begin in the Welcome World were you learn all the different things your avatar can do in Second Life.
After visiting the Welcome World you can travel any other world you wish. I traveled to the University of Kentucky's world and I got to view UK's landmarks like the William T. Young Library, Keeneland, Memorial Hall and other classroom buildings.
Second Life is sort of freaky and I probably won't use this type of media after my CLD 495 class, because it just freaks me out.
Also I just want to note that I always need my friends in real life and I still need them in Second Life, too. If it was not for my friend Olivia I wouldn't be able to take a picture of my Avatar in real life and if was not for her in Second Life, I'd still be stuck in a bush! True Story! lol
